Overview

We are happy to announce we are returning to the man-on-man format for the Metacon Plate Matches. However, there will be some changes regarding sign up, as pre-registration will be required.

 Registration

Registration will be done using Practiscore: https://practiscore.com/login

Registration will open a week before the match. The match will be restricted to the first 20 shooters who sign up plus the staff.  AT THIS TIME YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO SIGN UP FOR ONE GUN.

Arriving at Metacon

When you arrive, check in and pay in the range. There is no safe table, so all guns must remain bagged. Magazines may be loaded at any time.

Match Procedure

The match will be a standard man-on-man format.

  • When you are called to the line, the RO will give you the command to load and make ready.
  • At this point, keeping the gun pointing downrange, the shooters will get themselves set.
  • The start position is finger OUTSIDE the trigger guard, gun pointed downrange at low-ready.
  • When the shooters are ready, the command STANDBY will be given, and the RO will sound the start buzzer within 0-3 seconds.
  • At the buzzer, the shooter will knock down the plates per the described procedure {there may be start and stop plates).
  • When the shooter is finished, he will unload and show the RO the gun is clear, at which point the gun will be bagged.
